About

Aravind Gitamuralee

Welcome to my internet space — अरविन्दलोकम्. I'm officially Aravind Muraleedharan, though my friends call me G. My surname gitamuralee is a combination of both my parents' names — a small tribute I've chosen to carry.

I grew up along the southwestern coastline of India, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala — a city of monsoons, backwaters, and an unusually deep love for engineering education.

Currently a second year PhD student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Purdue University, working with Dr. Kwang Taik Kim. I also have a Master's degree in in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur, where my interest was in information theory and communication systems. I'm broadly interested in building AI systems that can sense, communicate, and act intelligently in the physical world.

I write occasionally about science, philosophy, and the spaces between them — find me at sciphisix.blogspot.com.
